About

I am a canon lawyer who has served in the Catholic Church's tribunals as an ecclesiastical judge for over a dozen years (most of my work has involved declarations of matrimonial nullity, often called “annulments” — though that word does not exist in the Code of Canon Law). I have also served as a defender of the bond. Additionally, I have had a private practice as a canonist for about fifteen years. My opinions are my own and do not represent any Catholic arch/diocese. *Never accept canon law advice from someone who is not a canon lawyer.* Contact canonlawadvocate at gmail dot com
